Becoming a member of Sound Cyclists or renewing your membership is easy. We have online registration to make your membership instantaneous. We recognize that some may not have access to the Internet and so we recommend using public access such as the library. Please read all the information below and then just click on the Apply Online button. Member Login Area All members will be furnished a User Name and Password for gaining access to the Members Only section, where they access the Ride Scheduling System, Rides Library and other member-specific information. The user name and password is changed twice a year for security purposes - once in mid February and again in mid August. Everyone gets the same login and we ask that you do not share it with people who are not members. When you register online or renew, the confirmation page will display the login. You will also receive a confirmation E-mail with the same information. Broadcast E-mail and @Chat It is very important that you furnish an E-mail address when you register. Select an address you have access to most of the time. Important notices will be sent to that address via the Broadcast E-mail system. After registering, we also strongly suggest that you subscribe to @Chat. This E-mail forum is widely used by our members, especially ride leaders who send out last minute information about the status of their rides when weather may cause a problem. Membership Duration Membership runs from February 1st of one year to January 31st of the following year. If you join after October 1st your membership will continue past the first January 31 date (4 months) and expires the following January 31st, essentially giving you a 16-month membership. Membership Dues:  $20.00 per year (online registration); $25.00 per year (using a mail-in form) Important: Online registrations are processed through active.com and your payment is made via their secure server using your credit card. Please note that active.com may ask you to set up a user name and password to join their system. We suggest you do not select this option. That user name and password would not work on our site! Remember, when your online registration is completed, you will see a confirmation page. Make sure you look at this page carefully because it contains in the club's Members Only Login Information. You will also receive an E-mail confirmation containing the same information. Save this information for your records. Mail-in Registrations: If you must register using a mail-in form, click on the Download Form button below. Please note using the mail-in form requires an additional $5.00 handling fee, delays the processing of your membership and getting you the log-in information. We strongly encourage you to use the online registration method above.
