Sound Cyclists Bicycle Club
Sound Cyclists is a bicycle club centered in Fairfield County, Connecticut, which was founded in 1977 "to promote the general interest of cycling, to promote a cycling-related social forum and to encourage safe bicycling." The club publishes a monthly calendar of rides via its Web site, which allows like-minded cyclists to gather for exercise, socialization and fun. Most rides take place along the scenic coastline and quiet backcountry roads of Fairfield County.
Charities SCBC supports
Sound Cyclists donates part of the proceeds from the Bloomin Metric to North East Community Cycles, a community based non-profit organization. Their volunteers clean and refurbish donated bicycles and give them away "free" to needy children and adults. Learn more about North East Community Cycles
