Bike Shop Program
The bike shops listed below in Connecticut, New York and New Jersey have agreed to give discounts and free bicycle inspections to Sound Cyclists Bicycle Club members. Members must present proof of their membership in SCBC. You can log into the Members Only section where you can download and print out a Membership Card.
Unless otherwise stated, the discount is 10% on parts, accessories, clothing, and repairs. There may be certain exclusions within each category. Some shops offer special pricing on bicycles. If a specific amount is given, then the percentage is indicated. Discounts are not offered on sale merchandise. Some shops do not discount installed parts. Shops reserve the right to determine the final discount.
*SCBC Bike Program with participating bike shops - Under this program, SCBC will give one-year free SCBC membership to new bike purchasers at the participating bike shops, if they are NOT existing SCBC members
**SCBC members can visit their local Bicycle store during normal business hours to receive a free safety inspection, typically lasting 5-10 minutes. Bike Shop will advise conditions on tire, chain, tune-up, and other repair recommendations.
