How to Fix a Flat Tire
Tuesday, June 23 at 5:45 pm

Don't be left behind – finally learn how to change a flat tire!
The club has arranged another clinic for its members - this time, how to fix a flat tire. The clinic will be hosted by Pacific Cycling & Triathlon located at 984 High Ridge Road, Stamford, CT 06905. The clinic will begin promptly at 5:45 pm.
This is a hands-on clinic. Please bring your wheel and a flat-tire kit. The staff at Pacific will show you the quickest way to install a new tube! If you have difficulty removing your wheel, you may bring your bike and we can assist you outside the shop, as space inside is limited for the clinic.
Along with the problem of getting a flat, understanding how remove your wheel and getting it back on the bike is important since there are a few different ways depending on the style of bike you have (Quick Release (QR) or Thru-Axle). Those with a rear hub motor on a power-assist bike will get additional info.
What to bring: Tire levers and a spare tube. If you would like to practice with CO2, please bring your inflator and cartridges. If you do not have these supplies, they are available for purchase at Pacific.
Since eating is synonymous with SCBC, light refreshments will be served!
The clinic is open to club members and there is a limit of 20 people. So we know how many people are attending, please click on the button below so you can contact us to let us know you're coming.
