On Wednesday, March 25th, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, we will have our Ride Leaders Training Session at Norwalk City Hall, 125 East Ave, Norwalk, CT 06851. Pizza, salad, soft drinks and water will be served beginning at 6:00pm.
Please RSVP by March 23rd.
Ride Leaders are required to take the course every two years. Even if you did the ride leader training last year you should attend as we be doing a demo of how to add rides in our system and it is our kick off event of the year. With most of the training deals with safety the session is open to all members and if you would like to become a ride leader. The training will be led by our Rides Director, Ron Tyson using The League of American Bicyclists training safety information. We will focus on preventing common motorist vs cyclist accidents and how to prevent them. We will also cover ride leader best practices.
Lynn Halper will also review our club accident insurance during the session.
After the Ride Leader Training, we will meet with our respective level Ride Coordinators to discuss upcoming plans for the 2026 season.
We look forward to seeing everyone on March 25th! This is always a great evening to reconnect with our friends and meet new folks, refresh our safe riding procedures and learn about the club's upcoming new initiatives!
Please use the button above or below to RSVP by March 23rd so we know how many of you are attending.
